Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center Opens at WSU

The new Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center at the entrance to the Washington State University campus in Pullman, Washington was designed to promote cultural awareness and celebration of heritage for the students at the University and the surrounding community. It was designed by GGLO Architects, Seattle, “Inspired by an indigenous philosophy of respect and interdependence between humans and nature.”  Judith and Daniel Caldwell were commissioned to create a series of artworks, both interior and exterior, for the project.
